Medshare: September 2012

AMSA Advocacy members regularly volunteer at MedShare, an organization that collects discarded medical instruments from hospitals and sorts them all into boxes to be shipped to people and organizations in need around the world. Contact Megha Mandal (smandal9@gatech.edu) or Barry Weaver (bweaver33@gatech.edu) if you have any questions. And make sure to check the calendar so you can sign up for the next Medshare!

On September 15th and 22nd, fellow AMSA Advocacy volunteers gave up their Saturday morning to package boxes of gloves. On both days combined, they packaged 218 boxes and 3018 pounds of gloves!
